What a week!
We started the week as the top post on Reddit’s r/InternetIsBeautiful and got over 2,000 upvotes in a 24 hour period!
Unfortunately, the mods deleted the post 🙁 with no reason given.

Upgraded Maps
This week, we also added big time map upgrades!
When you click on a place on the map, this will now show the details of the place:
From there, you can quickly add places to “the bucket” and then add all of the places in the bucket to a new day!
Routes have also been improved with estimates and labels:
SEO and Performance Improvements
We’re working on making the stories more performant overall and better performing in SEO.
- YouTube embed videos are now loaded with lightweight embeds instead which dramatically speed up loading of the pages.
- Default alt tags are now being generated for each photos using the contextual information about the trip and the days
- Each page now generates JSON+LD and microdata structured markup to help Google Search with indexing.
