Turas was born out of our shared frustration of trying to coordinate and plan multi-day trips using Google Docs and Google Sheets. We’ve all been there before! We use turas to plan our own trips, so we want it to be as useful and powerful for those of us who prefer to travel organized.
We love to travel because we believe that it is the fundamental way that connects us to different experiences and cultures that help share the human experience and see more of what makes us the same while reveling in the differences that make us unique.
Turas was made with that mindset: the more we travel and share our experiences, the better we can make the world — one story at a time.
Charles has been a lead engineer at multiple startups. He built Turas because of Sandra’s obsessive trip planning needs.
Sandra is a life-long educator and an obsessive planner, organizer, and list maker (that’s what makes her so great at her day job!). She is the inspiration for Turas.app and why it exists.
Gary has led operations teams at Walmart and various Bay Area startups. He’s also an avid traveler!
Turas is created by travelers, for travelers.
