Does it work offline?
Turas does not currently work offline. If you synchronize your trip with your Google Calendar, you should be able to take it with you offline on your device.
Is there an app?
Turas does not currently have an app; just the website. We recommend that when you travel, you synchronize the trip to your calendar which will have the added benefit of providing alerts and reminders.
Can I use my Apple ID instead?
Unfortunately, turas does not currently support Apple ID. Please let us know if this is an important feature for you.
Can I use Apple Maps instead?
We’re working on this! Apple Maps has some restrictions compared to Google Maps that we are still working to iron out.
What about OpenStreetMaps?
Unfortunately, OSM has even more limitations compared to Google Maps; we are investigating and seeing how we could use it. If you have suggestions, we’d love to hear it! Specifically, how can we accurately translate a query to a place?
Can I sync to a non-Google calendar?
Turas currently only synchronizes to Google Calendar. Please let us know if this is an important feature for you and which calendar you use.
Can I make trips for other people?
Yes! When you create a trip, you can add other travelers and collaborators on your trip. See the help article on Sharing your trip with other travelers.
If you’re an independent guide or a travel agency, this is the best way to create a trip for your clients. You can also copy and existing trip as well.
