Today we’re super excited to release the beta for the updated place details experience!
When you open your trip, you’ll have the option to opt-in to the new experience (don’t worry, you can also turn it off at any time).
The updated experience lets you see the place details like the contact information, website address, photos, and reviews right in Turas.app!
This feature is still in beta and we’re still working on implementing routing and pathing, but we’re excited to share this latest update with you!

Features and Updates
- When upgrading to the new map mode, you selecting a place will give you the option to see more details about the place.
- Not all places will translate correctly! Using well-known names will work best. Addresses may not translate correctly.
- New place predictions let you auto-complete places by picking from a list.

- Fix issue with re-drawing notes when adding, editing, or deleting
- Add option to reorder notes
- Change stories to show different note types in different tabs
- Add ChatGPT to generate an initial itinerary
